- How will the results be used?
Besides the specific information that will be made available to each full participting organization, Simcoe County and Georgian College both have an interest in the summary data for the following reasons:
- To monitor the levels of worforce engagement in Simcoe County for promotion and teaching purposes;
- To promote the top engaged workplaces in the regions;
- To assist in attracting new businesses to Simcoe County;
- To assist in attracting qualified workers to Simcoe County;
- To support teaching in the Business/HR prgram at Georgian College.
2. Who is behind the survey?
This is a partnership between two Simcoe County businesses, Prism Group Int'l and Sophie Fleming & Associates.
Sophie Fleming of Sophie Fleming & Associates is a Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) and specializes in survey design, normative data bases, analyzing data, and total employee compensation, one of the determinents of employee engagement.
Sophie Mathewson of Prism Group Int'l is a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) and specializes in creating winning employer-employee combinations through the utilitzation of a variety of tools including surveys and assessment combined with her professional coaching skills.
3. What is the advantage of registering early?
The earlier you register, the longer you have to promote the survey to your employees and get them engaged and eager to respond. This excercise alone can help improve your workplace engagement!
4. What is the advantage of using a third party to administer a survey?
Complete annonymity is crucial to the success of any organizational survey. Often employees are fearful of
responding to a few open-ended questions as a writing style can give clues to who the author is. Any responses
to open-ended questions, and there will only be a few, will be presented to the full participant organization
paraphrased and analyzed for similarities to protect respondents annonymity.
